When your property is affected by fire, wind, or water damage or you’re planning a remodel, you want someone who knows your project and can help you through it. At Restoration Specialists, our motto is “Good people to turn to.” Recent changes to the way our team works put that idea into practice, giving customers a consistent contact from the beginning of a project through its completion.
As we launch this blog, we want to explain how that process works and what it means for the people who turn to us for help.
🤝 One Person Who Knows Your Project
Your first conversation will usually be with a member of our administrative team, who will help connect you with the right person. For most projects, that will be your Restoration Specialist.
The Restoration Specialist works directly with you and coordinates with the subcontractors completing the work. They also stay in touch with our estimators and administrative staff, keeping the people involved in your project connected.
That role grew out of a problem we wanted to solve. Previously, a customer might begin with an estimator, then move to a different person for project management. Even after that handoff, customers sometimes continued calling the estimator because that was the person they knew. Questions could travel between departments, and responsibility wasn’t always as clear as it needed to be.
We changed the structure to give customers one person to work with from beginning to end. Your Restoration Specialist remains involved as the project moves forward, with responsibility for coordinating the work and helping you through the process.
👥 The Team Behind Your Restoration Specialist
A consistent contact needs a team that can support them. Here’s how the roles fit together:
- Your Restoration Specialist: Your main contact throughout the project, coordinating with you, subcontractors, and our office team.
- Our estimators: Work directly with insurance companies on estimates and coverage questions.
- Our administrative staff: Handle accounting and support customers, Restoration Specialists, and others involved in the project.
Our estimators are now part of the administrative department, where they can focus on their work with insurance companies while the Restoration Specialist manages the customer relationship and coordinates the job.
For customers, that means you don’t have to understand our internal organization to figure out where to start. You have someone familiar with your project who can bring in the right people when needed.
📍 A Local Place to Turn
Restoration work also involves practical decisions that can be easier to make in person.
Restoration Specialists has four physical locations serving Central Florida:
Gainesville • Lecanto • Leesburg • Ocala
These offices give customers a place to visit and look at material samples. They also allow us to manage project materials closer to the communities where we work.
Being able to see your options and talk through a decision can help when you’re choosing what will go back into your property. Our local offices are part of how we support that process.
🔜 What Comes Next
These changes reflect a greater focus on the customer’s experience throughout restoration. The work itself matters, and so does being able to reach someone, understand what’s happening, and get help with the next decision.
We’ll use this blog to answer common questions, explain the restoration process, and share more about how we work. You can also follow Restoration Specialists on Facebook for company updates. To read customer reviews or share your own experience, visit the Google listing for your local office: Gainesville, Lecanto, Ocala, or Leesburg.
